In Advent we prepare for Christ’s coming in our lives. Just as we clean our homes for an expected guest, we prepare ourselves for Jesus to be born anew in our lives by dusting out dark corners of doubt and unbelief.
Last week’s lesson was the lesson of hope, where we pondered the role of the prophets in Jesus’s birth. This week we examine the lesson of peace and faith and ponder the shepherds and wisemen’s faith when they sought out the Christ child.
