I have two coins on my desk that I keep close to my keyboard so I can look at them while I prepare my sermon each week. These coins are called “Widow’s Mites.” Although they were originally called just a “mite”, both secular and Christian scholars alike call them “Widow’s Mite” because the beautiful story associated with them in the bible.
This story is found in Luke 21:1-4 and Mark 12:41-44. Listen to my talk on “Giving from the Heart.”
