At our church we are growing Easter Butterflies. O.K., they are not butterflies yet; they are caterpillars. When I first showed them in church they started out as larvae. They appeared like little worms crawling up the plastic cup that I showed to the congregation. Now they have grown into plumb fuzzy caterpillars, spinning their webs up the side of the plastic cup. Soon their webs will become cocoons and they will transition into butterflies. If they don’t continue to change and grow, they will die. There is a lesson in their transition as in our Christian walk. Listen to my blog on the difference between costly and cheap grace to hear that lesson.
