“My life is your hands,” is a common cry of the prophets in Old Testament.

They often say it in times of destress or attack. What is the prophet trying to express by using this phrase?

Most certainly it is an affirmation of God’s sovereignty, but I also think that it is an affirmation of God’s good intent for our lives and call.
