As protestant Christians we base our Christian walk on the bible. We can thank John Wycliffe for that high view of scripture. In 1378 when John Wycliffe began his ministry as a Pastor, most of the church was steeped in superstitions and his fellow pastors seemed more interested in accumulating wealth than preaching the gospel.
