SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS

Surviving the Holidays video and guide

The holiday season can be difficult for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Surviving the Holidays is a special event to offer help to those experiencing deep emotions during this season. The program offers a video, discussion group, and a Survival Guide with daily encouragement and helpful exercises. Being with others with similar situations can offer comfort and peace. (Free Survival Guide while they last.)

A Service of Hope

The holiday season can be challenging and emotional for all those dealing with various kinds of loss, illnesses, grief, depression, or sorrow. A Service of Hope gives participants a chance to bring these difficult emotions before God in a sacred space and to experience the assurance that the presence of God is with us in the midst of darkness.

Scripture, prayer, and lighting candles in the presence of a worshipping community can bring comfort and hope to participants. This service is open to all who seek assurance of God’s love and care during this season of life.
