We are excited to bring back Teen Challenge of New Haven, CT. They will be bringing approximately 12 men from the ministry to share their faith stories. In addition to sharing they also bring voices to sing God’s praises which is so inspiring.

If you are not familiar with Teen Challenge, it was founded in 1960 by David Wilkerson, an Assemblies of God pastor who left a rural Pennsylvania church to work on the street among teenage gang members and socially marginalized people in New York City. He may best be known for later authoring the book The Cross and the Switchblade and for founding Times Square Church. Please come and invite a friend! A potluck dinner will begin at 5 pm in the Ministry Center, and the program will start at about 6 pm in the sanctuary.

When: Sunday, August 12
Time: 5 pm for the potluck dinner; 6 pm for the program

A free-will offering will be taken, and the Teen Challenge group will be selling some items that evening as well.
